Aus bislang unbekannter Ursache brach am 28. Dezember 2020 gegen 21:40 Uhr bei einem landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen in Feldkirchen bei Mattighofen ein Brand aus. Bemerkt wurde der Brand vom 32-jährigen Sohn der Besitzer, welcher in einem benachbarten Einfamilienhaus wohnt. Dieser war gerade in der Küche, als er die Flammen bei seinem Elternhaus entdeckte. Während seine Frau die Feuerwehr verständigte, holte der 32-Jährige seine Eltern aus dem Wohnhaus.
Sechs Feuerwehren mit insgesamt 150 Mann waren im Einsatz. Gegen 23:30 Uhr konnte endgültig Brandaus gegeben werden.
